Ok. Hopefully you are still reading, because that was all a complete lie. This screen has not detected any viruses, or anything else, because it is not an antivirus program. It's just a website.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of scam websites out there these days, that look scary like this one, but aren't quite so honest. If you are just browsing the web and "Technical Support" of some kind suddenly pops up to tell you the sky is falling... it's probably a trick.
You've probably noticed it seems impossible to leave, with all the pop-up messages. Again, there's nothing wrong with your computer - this is just an extremely rude website. Sorry about that. (Scam sites, as a rule, tend to be rude.) To escape, follow the following instructions, then you might want to visit russianhackingsite.biz/about to learn more about why this site exists.
- If you are using Windows: Press Control-Alt-Delete, and choose the Task Manager. From there, select your web browser (might be iexplore.exe, firefox.exe, or chrome.exe) and click the button that says "End Process". If you see more than one browser, you may have to End all of them.
- If you are using MacOS: Click on the Apple logo in the very top-left of the screen, and choose Force Quit. Select your web browser (might be Safari, Firefox, or Google Chrome) and click the button that says "Force Quit". Note that on some systems, your browser tries to be helpful by returning to the last page you were on when you next open it. If you keep finding yourself back on this site, Force Quit again, then hold down the Shift key when you reopen the browser.
- On an iPhone: Tap on the button that looks like two nested squares (to view your open pages), then tap the "X" to close this page.
This liar of a website tells you how to escape from it, but if you come across any less-kind ones in the future, now you know how to get rid of them, too!
